Get Involved with Summaeverythang

News, Promotions

We’re happy to announce that we’re supporting Summaeverythang Community Center’s service to provide free organic produce boxes to the people in Watts and South Central Los Angeles.

When the shelter-in-place orders began in early March, Lauren Halsey—Summaeverythang’s founder—redirected the plans for the community center, with the help of close friends and collaborators, to give away produce boxes to residents in the community center’s neighborhood.

Summaeverythang’s grassroots efforts have provided 1000+ free produce boxes to people in the community, who have been the most economically impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. We’re helping streamline the community center’s work so that they can reach their goal of providing fresh, organic food to more people in Watts, Compton, and throughout South Central LA.

You can get involved by donating a $1 or $5 to your order when you checkout on tendergreens.com or in our app. All of your donations will go toward supporting Summaeverythang’s food donation program.
